What is the difference between a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner (DNP) and Dermatologist?
There are more similarities between a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner and a Dermatologist. Both can do the following:
- Treat skin, nail, and hair conditions
- Client Centered
- Write Prescriptions
What separates a DNP from a Dermatologist is that a Dermatologist is able to make incisions and perform minor surgeries and also take leadership positions in or ownership of a medical practice.
